Exam 2 scores

71919281

The scores for exam 2 have been uploaded. Overall the scores were better for both sections than they were for the first exam.

A note to section 801 (8:00 a.m. at West Charleston). I left your score sheets on my desk at Cheyenne before I left for the weekend. You’ll have to wait until Wednesday to get those.

Enjoy your weekend.

Office hours Tuesday this week

I have an unavoidable meeting this Tuesday on the West Charleston campus during my office hours.

I apologize for the inconvenience. If you need to see me this week, let me know so we can set up an alternate time.

One of the best

Still gotta be one of the best commercials of all time.

President's Day Weekend

We have a 3-day weekend, so no class on Monday. The notes from this past Wednesday have been uploaded.

I think I have fixed the issue with the gradebook for the 801 section (8:00 a.m. M/W). I had middle names in there somehow and it was reporting an error. I believe that is fixed now.

I’ve also removed the sidebar on the flashcards section in the study tools. Some said it was too narrow and was cutting off the edge of the flashcards. I think that should be fixed now.

There was an error with question #34 on Exam 1. I’ve dropped that question, therefore those of you who missed that question will see that your score has increased slightly to reflect that change.

I’ll be waist-deep in Utah snow until Tuesday. Hope you enjoy your long weekend too.

I've uploaded the scores for both the first quiz and the first exam. The scores were pretty typical for the first exam. We'll talk more about it in class this week.

The State of Nevada Education

I hope you all have been following what is going on in this state, as it will likely affect you directly or other members of your family.

What we know as CSN will be entirely different over the next 6 months and beyond. The budget cuts predicted to come just this Spring alone may cut 1/5 of all funding to Nevada schools, including CSN. 20% of all CSN may disappear by July. That would mean entire programs closing permanently, student services cut, staff and faculty layed off, and likely more large hikes in tuition and fees.
