I joined the Biological Sciences Dept. at CSN in Fall 2005, where I teach Biology 189, Fundamentals of Life Science, and Biology 196, Principles of Modern Biology I. I am currently acting as the lead faculty for the biology 189 course.

Biology 189

Biology 189 is required for all Biological Science and Health Science majors.  It consists of a compilation of contemporary biology topics with an emphasis on cellular biology.  Topics include:  basic chemistry and biochemistry, cell structure, metabolism, evolution, genetics and physiology.  Biology 189 is a 4 credit, lecture and lab course, and includes 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of lab per week.   There are no pre-requisites for Biology 189.
